We know what happens to today when it becomes yesterday... It waits for them...the timekeepers of eternity! Stephen King-Needful Things
This caught my eye in the =abstractsilence Gallery.
This is quality Artwork. Although there is a Dali-esque influence apparent, you have managed to imprint a strong style of your own in the piece.
I am particularly impressed by the tree. It portrays a certain fragility in the way the branches have a very bone-like feel. I also sense a feeling of emptiness and detachment. It's difficult to tell whether the tree is on land or in water, and I like the ambiguity of this imagery.
The overall toning of the composition is in tune with this stark atmosphere, and as such, works very well.
Overall, it's a great concept, imaginatively created. Excellent work indeed.
